Internationally known novelist Claudette Cleveland will be a guest author at the San Juan College Bookstore in Farmington, New Mexico. Claudette will be speaking and signing the books of her trilogy on Wednesday, September 3rd from 10am to 4pm.
The Beneath and Beyond Trilogy is about human ambassadors who are trained in hidden cities throughout the earth by the tall white beings who came from another universe. The ambassadors are sent to every part of the world with the purpose of teaching their fellow humans to live a more peaceful life much as they did on the ancient continent of Lemuria.
Her second book in the Beneath and Beyond Trilogy called The Thunderbirds takes place on the Navajo reservation. She will give presentations of the “story behind the story” at noon and at 3pm. In an effort to promote reading, she has given copies of the designer edition of The Hidden City to the bookstore to be given away every hour to those who register.
Claudette has traveled all over the world talking to indigenous people and as a result brings an aura of authenticity to the characters and settings of her novels. Her first book in the series, The Hidden City was inspired by a trip to Tibet and Peru. The third and final book in the trilogy, El Diablo was inspired by her trip to the ancient ruins of Teotihuacan outside of Mexico City.
Claudette is currently working on the sixth book in her Sara Connolly Mystery Series.
